Stop and consult this skill whenever your response would include specific facts about Anthropic's products. Covers: Claude Code (how to install, Node.js requirements, platform/OS support, MCP server integration, configuration), Claude API (function calling/tool use, batch processing, SDK usage, rate limits, pricing, models, streaming), and Claude.ai (Pro vs Team vs Enterprise plans, feature limits). Trigger this even for coding tasks that use the Anthropic SDK, content creation mentioning Claude capabilities or pricing, or LLM provider comparisons. Any time you would otherwise rely on memory for Anthropic product details, verify here instead — your training data may be outdated or wrong.

State-first design pass — inventories and implements all non-happy states (loading, empty, error, partial, conflict, offline) before the happy path, and refactors impossible boolean state to proper state machines. Use when starting a new screen, reviewing an existing one for edge-case gaps, or when the user says "handle the error state" / "add loading states" / "what happens when data is missing". Invoke when the user asks for unhappy on their UI, or mentions 'unhappy' alongside design / UI / frontend work.

Visium and other spot-based spatial transcriptomics (Slide-seq, ST) cell type deconvolution with cell2location: load Space Ranger output, get a tissue-matched scRNA-seq reference from CELLxGENE, learn cell type signatures, estimate cell type abundance per spot with posterior uncertainty, and check the maps against marker genes. Default route for 'annotate cell types' on Visium when a GPU is available. Limits: needs a tissue- and state-matched reference; the default 30000 epochs take hours on CPU, so without a GPU it runs only with fewer epochs (exploratory maps) and can exceed one execution call's time limit. For fast per-spot proportions on CPU use spatial-mapping-tangram (clusters mode); for single-cell-resolution data (Xenium, MERFISH, CosMx) use spatial-transcriptomics-cell-type-annotation.

Spatial domain detection (tissue regions / niches) for spatial transcriptomics: SpaGCN (expression + spatial graph + H&E histology, Visium/ST), GraphST (self-supervised graph contrastive embedding, spots or cells) and UTAG (spatial message passing for Xenium/MERFISH/CosMx/IMC cells). Outputs a domain label per spot or cell, boundary refinement, cross-method agreement (ARI) and domain marker genes. For niches defined by the cell type composition of annotated cells use Step 7 of spatial-transcriptomics-cell-type-annotation; for neighbourhood enrichment and spatial statistics use spatial-transcriptomics-analysis-squidpy.

Use when streaming durable workflow updates to a UI in real time — live order status pages that animate as steps complete, AI agent token streaming from a function to the browser, log tailing for long-running jobs, or human-in-the-loop approval flows that publish a prompt and wait for a user reply. Covers Inngest v4 native realtime: defining typed channels, publishing from inside step.run, minting subscription tokens via server actions, and consuming the stream from React/Next.js client components.

Covers Inngest middleware lifecycle, creating custom middleware, dependencyInjectionMiddleware, @inngest/middleware-encryption, @inngest/middleware-sentry, and custom middleware patterns.

Reverse-lookup glossary that turns a vague description of a web animation or motion effect into its exact term ("the bouncy thing when a popover opens" → Pop in; "the iOS rubber-band scroll" → Rubber-banding). Use when the user asks "what's it called when…", or describes a motion effect without knowing its name and wants the right word to prompt an AI or designer with.
