| Category | Weight | What Determines the Winner |
|---|---|---|
| Valuation | 20% | Lower P/E, PEG, EV/EBITDA relative to growth = better. Higher FCF yield = better. |
| Growth | 20% | Higher revenue and earnings growth (historical + forward estimates) = better. |
| Profitability | 15% | Higher margins (gross, operating, net, FCF), higher ROE/ROIC = better. |
| Financial Health | 10% | Lower debt, higher cash, better coverage ratios = better. |
| Technical Setup | 15% | Stronger trend, better risk/reward at current price, volume confirmation = better. |
| Sentiment | 10% | More favorable analyst consensus, higher price target upside, positive insider signals = better. |
| Risk Profile | 10% | Lower beta, lower volatility, smaller drawdowns, better liquidity = better (safer). |
For each category, the stock with the higher score wins that category. The overall winner is determined by the weighted total score. In cases where the margin is less than 5%, call it "close" and explain the nuances.
