This skill should be used when the user asks to "make an ASCII animation", "build a terminal/CLI intro or loader", "convert an image or video to ASCII art", "add an ASCII shader/post-effect to a canvas or Three.js scene", "create retro/hacker text-character motion", or "animate text characters with a brightness ramp". Covers generative ASCII fields, image/video/3D-to-ASCII, and animated character art for both web and terminal.

Design serialization schemas using JSON Schema, Protocol Buffer definitions, or Apache Avro. Covers schema versioning, backwards compatibility, validation rules, and evolution strategies for long-lived data formats. Use when defining a new API contract or data interchange format, adding fields to an existing schema without breaking consumers, migrating between schema versions, choosing between schema systems, or documenting data validation rules for automated enforcement.

Build a plugin or adapter for a CLI tool using the abstract base class pattern. Covers defining the contract (static fields, required methods), choosing an installation strategy (symlink, copy, append-to-file), implementing detection, install/uninstall with idempotency, listing, auditing, and registering the plugin. Use when adding support for a new framework to a CLI installer, building a plugin system for any multi-target tool, or extending an existing adapter architecture.

Spring Boot coding conventions: REST controller design, service layer, dependency injection, configuration, DTO patterns, exception handling, and Bean Validation. Apply on any Spring Boot project. Works alongside spring-boot-plugin:spring-data-jpa for persistence and java-foundation:java-conventions for domain objects. Use this skill to: - Structure REST endpoints with @RestController, proper HTTP semantics, and DTO mapping. - Enforce constructor injection and @ConfigurationProperties over @Value on fields. - Write @Service classes with transactional boundaries at the right layer. - Handle errors consistently with @RestControllerAdvice and ProblemDetail (RFC 9457). Do NOT use this skill for: - JPA entity and repository patterns — see spring-boot-plugin:spring-data-jpa. - Spring Security configuration — see the security phase injection in stack.md. - Build tool configuration — see java-foundation:build-tooling.

Modern C# idioms for any .NET project (C# 10+, .NET 6+): nullable reference types, records, readonly structs, primary constructors, pattern matching, async/await with CancellationToken, IDisposable/IAsyncDisposable, file-scoped namespaces, var usage, naming conventions (PascalCase members, _camelCase fields, I-prefixed interfaces), and class design rules. Apply whenever the project is a .NET 6+ project. Stack-agnostic — referenced by every .NET plugin in the marketplace. Use this skill to: - Write self-documenting immutable value types with records and readonly structs. - Handle nullable reference types explicitly to eliminate NullReferenceException at compile time. - Implement async/await correctly with CancellationToken propagation and ConfigureAwait(false) in libraries. - Dispose unmanaged resources correctly via IDisposable / IAsyncDisposable and using statements. - Apply C# pattern matching (switch expressions, property patterns, list patterns) for cleaner branching logic. Do NOT use this skill for: - Framework-specific idioms (ASP.NET Core controllers, minimal APIs, EF Core — those live in aspnet-core-plugin skills). - Build tooling (dotnet CLI, NuGet, csproj) — see csharp-foundation:dotnet-tooling. - Testing patterns — see csharp-foundation:dotnet-testing.

Angular forms: Reactive Forms (preferred — typed FormGroup/FormControl since Angular 14, FormBuilder, custom + async validators, FormArray, multi-step) and Template-driven (`[(ngModel)]` + FormsModule). Validation strategies, server error mapping, accessibility. Use this skill to: - Build Reactive Forms with typed FormGroup/FormControl. - Use FormBuilder для concise syntax. - Implement custom synchronous and async validators. - Wire FormArray for dynamic field lists. - Map server errors back to form fields. - Pick Reactive vs Template-driven (prefer Reactive). Do NOT use this skill for: - General conventions (see angular-conventions). - State management beyond forms (see angular-state-and-rx). - Routing (see angular-routing). - Testing forms (see angular-testing).

Django web framework conventions: app layout, settings split (base/local/production), URLconf with app namespacing, CBV and DRF ViewSets, DRF serializers and permissions, form validation, signals, Django admin registration, and middleware. Activated automatically by django-plugin/stack.md. Works alongside python-foundation:python-conventions and django-plugin:django-orm-patterns. Use this skill to: - Structure a Django project with multiple apps and correct URLconf hierarchy. - Write CBVs and DRF ViewSets with appropriate permissions and serializers. - Configure settings correctly for different environments. - Use signals for decoupled event handling between apps. - Register models in Django admin with useful list_display and search_fields. Do NOT use this skill for: - Django ORM model field finalization and migration patterns — see django-plugin:django-orm-patterns. - Python language idioms (type hints, dataclasses, enums) — see python-foundation:python-conventions. - Testing patterns — see python-foundation:pytest-testing.

Run and analyze molecular dynamics simulations with OpenMM and MDAnalysis. Set up protein and protein-ligand systems with PDBFixer, choose force fields and water models (AMBER14, CHARMM36m, ff19SB, GAFF2, TIP3P), solvate and add ions, run energy minimization, NVT/NPT equilibration and production MD on GPU, then analyze trajectories for RMSD, RMSF, radius of gyration, hydrogen bonds, native contacts, PCA and free energy surfaces. Use this skill for protein stability under mutation, ligand binding-mode and residence-time questions, conformational sampling, membrane proteins, and disordered ensembles. Also trigger on OpenMM, MDAnalysis, mdtraj, Simulation.step, LangevinMiddleIntegrator, PDBFixer, DCD or XTC trajectory, RMSD analysis, or production MD.

Diagnose and fix RFDB data disappearing after compaction, where rfdb-server reports a tiny node count (e.g. "15 nodes") on startup despite manifest_index.json showing hundreds of thousands of nodes and segment files existing on disk. Use when: (1) rfdb-server logs "Default database: N nodes" with N orders of magnitude smaller than recent analysis output, (2) /api/stats returns only the most recent commit's nodes, (3) the issue appears AFTER a compaction event (manifest with l1_node_segments populated and node_segments: []), (4) subsequent commits dropped L1 references. Root cause: ManifestStore::create_manifest() initializes l1_node_segments/l1_edge_segments to Vec::new() instead of cloning from current manifest, so any commit AFTER compaction silently orphans all L1 data even though segment .seg files still exist on disk. Compaction injects L1 fields explicitly after create_manifest, but regular commits do not.

Use the hyalo CLI instead of read/edit/grep/write when working with markdown (.md) files that have YAML frontmatter. This skill MUST be consulted whenever pi is working with markdown documentation directories, knowledgebases, wikis, notes, Obsidian-compatible collections, Zettelkasten systems, iteration plans, or any collection of .md files with frontmatter. Trigger this skill when: searching or filtering markdown files by content, tags, or properties; reading or modifying YAML frontmatter; managing tags or metadata across documents; toggling task checkboxes in markdown; getting an overview of a documentation directory; querying document properties or status fields; bulk-updating metadata across many markdown files; or when you find yourself repeatedly using read/edit/grep/write on .md files. Even if the user does not mention "hyalo" by name, use this skill whenever the task involves structured markdown documents with frontmatter. For pi sessions, ALWAYS use `--format text` for compact, LLM-friendly output.

Use when you need Liberty91 platform intelligence — what actually happened (deduplicated Threat Events with every source, Admiralty reliability/credibility and verification stage), whether an IOC is already known to your account, the canonical threat library (actors, malware, vulnerabilities, clusters, ATT&CK TTPs), alert matches, or which of your customer organizations an occurrence affects — or when you need to push intelligence back: ingesting your own report, generating an intelligence package, or uploading an organization document. Also supplies event provenance fields, when the platform returns them, and Threat Library alias resolution to /source-provenance and /quality-of-information-check. Two-way, first-party integration. Commonly invoked by /ip-investigation and friends, /ioc-enrichment-workflow, /threat-actor-profiling, /campaign-tracking and /vulnerability-intelligence. Reads $LIBERTY91_API_KEY.
