Use whenever writing, reviewing, or debugging .NET/C# code that uses the BallisticCalculator NuGet package (namespace BallisticCalculator) or its Gehtsoft.Measurements unit types — even when the user doesn't name the package explicitly but is clearly doing external/interior ballistics in .NET (bullet drop, velocity, energy, windage, spin drift, time of flight, zeroing a scope) for rifles, air rifles, bows, or artillery. Covers the full public API (Ammunition, Rifle, Atmosphere, Wind, ShotParameters, TrajectoryCalculator, TrajectoryPoint); standard, custom, .drg, and multi-BC drag tables; saving/loading data and building your own file format around it (BXml and System.Text.Json serialization); and building or rendering scope reticles (e.g. to SVG). Also use it for this library's Gehtsoft.Measurements Measurement<T> unit types (DistanceUnit, VelocityUnit, AngularUnit, WeightUnit, PressureUnit, …). Skip for: generic physics or projectile-motion exercises, a different ballistics library (e.g. GNU/JBM), game-engine or Unity projectile motion, plain unit conversions, and non-code ballistics questions (load-data or forensics advice). Self-contained: no access to the library source or binaries is required — prefer this over scanning the package to rediscover the API. Describes 1.1.13+, including the named ZeroRangeCantBeReachedException / TrajectoryCannotBeCalculatedException failures.

GraphQL, WebSockets, and microservices patterns for NestJS. Apply only when the relevant package is in dependencies (`@nestjs/graphql`, `@nestjs/websockets`, `@nestjs/microservices`). Each section is orientation, not exhaustive — defer to NestJS docs for deep dives. Use this skill to: - Wire a GraphQL resolver (code-first) with class-validator inputs. - Build a WebSocket gateway with auth and room management. - Set up a microservice transport (TCP/RabbitMQ/NATS/Redis/Kafka) and message handlers. Do NOT use this skill for: - REST controllers (see nest-conventions + decorator-patterns). - ORM (see nest-data-layer). - Auth strategies (see security-analyst phase guidance).

Design guide + benchmarked pitfalls for building Monte-Carlo / Simulated Annealing refinement layers on top of greedy hex-grid layouts for code visualization (packages/gui/src/store/hexLayout.ts, sandbox/hex-sandbox, future Rust ports). Use when: (1) planning to add MC/SA on top of an existing hex-grid pack, (2) deciding whether a simpler SA would match a hierarchical MC with force-directed + chain drag, (3) budgeting wall-clock for million-node cold-start, (4) debugging "blob turns Swiss-cheese" or "folders stop nucleating" during MC refinement, (5) choosing between folder cohesion and raw Σ-link-length as cost function. Contains four hard-won, quantified lessons and anti-patterns that would take a full day of experiments to rediscover.

Manage Volcengine's AI-native BaaS platform (Supabase edition / AIDAP / 火山引擎 AI 原生 BaaS 平台 Supabase 版) — a Volcengine-operated distribution that differs from official Supabase. Use when the user asks to create, inspect, or manage Volcengine Supabase or AIDAP resources — workspaces, branches, computes, SQL queries, schema changes, Auth, Realtime, Edge Functions, Storage buckets, frontend static-site hosting (Pages), API keys, connection info, or TypeScript type generation — or when a Volcengine deployment selects AIDAP as its database provider. Also trigger on Chinese prompts mentioning "火山引擎 Supabase" or "火山 Supabase". Operations run through the byted-supabase-cli command-line tool (installed via `npm i -g @byted-supabase/cli`; this is NOT the official `supabase` CLI). Do NOT use it for general database discussions, non-Supabase services (RDS MySQL, Redis), or pure client-side coding unrelated to Supabase backend management.

Run a task iteratively over a user-specified duration by dispatching subagents. The orchestrator stays strictly linear and time-checked, but each iteration fans out MULTIPLE subagents in parallel over independent units (and those subagents may fan out further). Shared state — a compact progress digest and a growing environment cheatsheet — lives on disk and is passed to every subagent BY REFERENCE, killing the per-subagent rediscovery tax. Every subagent first reads an initialiser preamble that points it at that shared state and makes it write findings back, so the cheatsheet populates itself; role prompts are produced ONCE on the filesystem by a single scaffold command and dispatched by path, never re-typed per dispatch. Subagents persist their results to disk and return only a tiny status, so the orchestrator's context stays small and lasts. The orchestrator classifies the goal as FINITE or OPEN-ENDED: finite lists may finish early; open-ended goals use the full duration, never idle, never manufacture busywork. Use when the user gives a task and a duration and wants it ground out iteratively by subagents over that time.

Create reproducible, cross-platform development environments with Flox — a declarative environment manager built on Nix. ALWAYS use this skill when the user needs to: set up a project with system-level dependencies (compilers, databases, native libraries like openssl, libvips, BLAS, LAPACK); configure reproducible toolchains for Python, Node.js, Rust, Go, C/C++, Java, Ruby, Elixir, PHP, or any language; manage environments that must work identically across macOS and Linux; pin exact package versions for a team; run local services (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka) alongside development tools; onboard new developers with a single command; or solve 'works on my machine' problems. Especially valuable for AI-assisted and vibe coding — Flox lets agents install tools into a project-scoped environment without sudo, system pollution, or sandbox restrictions, and the resulting environment is committed to the repo so anyone can reproduce it instantly. Use this skill even if the user doesn't mention Flox — if they describe needing reproducible, declarative, cross-platform dev environments with system packages, this is the right tool. Also use when the user mentions .flox/, manifest.toml, flox activate, or FloxHub.

Use this skill when authoring or editing Docker Compose files (compose.yaml / docker-compose.yml), running multi-container stacks, or containerizing a Drupal/PHP application — e.g. "set up a local Drupal stack with nginx and MariaDB", "add Redis to my compose file", "why won't my containers start", "split dev and prod compose configuration". Also trigger for compose commands (up, down, logs, exec, watch) and healthcheck/dependency issues between services.

Delegate implementation work to a dedicated implementer subagent, then review its diff, send it back to iterate, gate on the full test suite, and ship it as a PR. Use this whenever the user wants a separate model to write code, mentions handing off / delegating implementation, asks to work through a plan or spec unit-by-unit with a subagent doing the coding, or wants a review-and-merge loop wrapped around delegated output — and also when resuming such a loop ("keep going", "next unit", "继续下一个"). It encodes constraints that are expensive to rediscover: the implementer self-reports success, must not run the full test suite by default, must not touch git, and its report is a claim rather than evidence. Cursor port of implementation-loop. This loop expects an approved plan or an equivalently precise spec; settle an unsolved high-level goal into a plan first, using the cursor-engineering-mode skill (it ships in this same plugin).

Delegate implementation to Codex, grok, or cursor-agent, then review the diff, send it back to iterate, gate on the full test suite, and ship it as a PR. Use this whenever the user wants Codex, the grok 后端, or cursor-agent to write code, mentions handing off / delegating implementation to one of those backends, asks to work through a plan or spec unit-by-unit with an implementation backend doing the coding, or wants a review-and-merge loop wrapped around delegated output — and also when resuming such a loop ("keep going", "next unit", "继续下一个"). It encodes constraints that are expensive to rediscover: the implementer runs in the real environment behind backend-specific git and publication boundaries, must not be pointed at a full test suite by default, and its self-report is a claim rather than evidence. This loop expects an approved plan or an equivalently precise spec; settle an unsolved high-level goal into a plan first, using the engineering-mode skill when it is installed.

Trigger when: (1) the user mentions "noise", "slop", "frame audit", "video review", "letter spacing", "padding intrusion", "frame extract", "naive arrow", or Korean equivalents (노이즈, slop, 프레임 검수, 글자 깨짐), or (2) after rendering a new or modified Manim scene, or (3) the user asks to review an mp4 in `media/videos/` or `~/Downloads/`. Post-render audit workflow for Manim 1080p60 videos. Extracts keyframes via ffmpeg, inspects them through Claude Code's Read tool, and classifies any defects into four standing categories (naive arrow / padding intrusion / glyph kerning drift / frame-order error). Catalogues 12+ verified incidents across the four GEODE scenes so each is caught the first time, not rediscovered. The companion authoring skill is [[manim-scene-craft]].

Use when designing a background-job system, choosing between BullMQ / Sidekiq / RQ / Temporal / SQS, deciding queue-vs-workflow, sizing concurrency vs rate limits, building dead-letter queues, or making handlers idempotent. Triggers: jobs running twice on retry, lost jobs after worker crash, DLQ filling up, Redis OOM from job backlog, exactly-once requested, "do we need Temporal?", visibility timeout / lockDuration confusion, exponential backoff vs jitter, fan-out fan-in workflows. NOT for outbound webhook publishing (different concerns), receiver-side webhook handling (different concerns), event-streaming/Kafka topology, or in-process async (event loop only).
