Use this skill whenever the user is doing hands-on DOCA programming on a BlueField DPU or ConnectX NIC and needs the foundation primitives every per-library context rests on — walking the doca_ctx lifecycle, discovering doca_dev / doca_devinfo and gating on doca_*_cap_* before trusting a feature, wiring doca_mmap / doca_buf_inventory / doca_buf for zero-copy I/O across libraries, driving doca_pe for completions, or DOCA Log's two-tier (--sdk-log-level vs app-side) model. Trigger even when the user does not say "DOCA Common" — typical implicit phrasings include "my tasks submit but nothing completes", "DOCA_ERROR_BAD_STATE from doca_ctx_start", "--sdk-log-level does nothing for my DOCA_LOG_DBG lines", "share a buf between doca_dma and doca_rdma", or "crashes far from the offending line". Refuse and route elsewhere for per-library questions in isolation (load doca-flow / doca-rdma / doca-eth alongside), installing DOCA (doca-setup), or doc lookup (doca-public-knowledge-map).

Use this skill when the user has an existing DPDK application and is adding DOCA capabilities in-place — most commonly DOCA Flow hardware steering — without rewriting the data-plane in DOCA-native form: binding a DPDK port id to a `doca_dev` (`doca_dpdk_port_probe` / `doca_dpdk_port_as_dev`), converting `rte_mbuf` ↔ `doca_buf`, querying `doca_dpdk_cap_is_rep_port_supported`, or debugging `DOCA_ERROR_*` from a bridge call. Trigger even without "DOCA DPDK Bridge": "how do I add DOCA Flow to my DPDK app", "make a DPDK port visible to DOCA", "the bridge loads but every operation returns errors", "pkg-config --exists doca-dpdk-bridge fails", or "DOCA_ERROR_NOT_FOUND on port registration". Route elsewhere for fresh DOCA-native packet I/O (doca-eth), flow-rule programming (doca-flow), DOCA or DPDK install (doca-setup), or RDMA data movement (doca-rdma).

Use this skill when the user is dropping below the higher-level DOCA libraries (doca-rdma / doca-eth / doca-rmax) into the raw-verbs escape hatch — managing QP / CQ / PD / MR / SRQ / AH / CC-group / Ethernet-SQ-RQ primitives inside DOCA Core, porting libibverbs code into the DOCA Core model, capability-querying a specific verb / opcode / WR flag / QP attribute via doca_verbs_query_device, or debugging DOCA_ERROR_* from doca_verbs_* calls. Trigger even when the user does not say "doca-verbs" — implicit phrasings include "raw QP attribute the task API doesn't expose", "keep my ibv_* code next to doca_* on the same QP", "IO_FAILED on WR submit", "QP state transition rejected", "attach a congestion- control group", or "porting my libibverbs code". Review generated or changed documentation before it ships — READMEs, API references, docstrings, PHPDoc/JSDoc, changelogs, tutorials, and doc sites. Best used reactively after an agent writes or edits docs, after code changes documented behavior, or before publishing docs. Use when the user says 'review the docs', 'is this documentation accurate', 'update the docs', 'write a README', 'document this API', 'add a docstring', or 'add a changelog entry'. Core job: verify every referenced function, flag, endpoint, config key, and code sample against the source; catch docs-vs-code drift; strip filler and unverifiable claims. DO NOT USE for production code review (use clean-code-guard), test review (use test-guard), marketing copy or blog posts, prose style editing of non-technical writing, or documentation site theming.

Consolidates redundant documentation while preserving all valuable content; keeps a doc set truthful after things change. Modes: (1) POST-CHANGE GOVERNANCE — when code, scripts, config, env vars, ports, paths, deployment, auth, tests, or a documented procedure changed; also "which docs are now wrong", "check docs for inconsistencies", "过时的命令/路径", "文档同步". Use it even when the user mentions only the change and never the docs — updating them is part of the change, not optional cleanup. (2) CONSOLIDATION — "clean up docs", "documentation bloat", "reduce documentation sprawl", "consolidate documentation", "too many doc files", "merge redundant docs", "merge these docs", "文档太多/太乱", multiple files covering the same topic, or documentation exceeding 500 lines across multiple files on similar topics. Finds stale copies of a fact changed in only one place, values that should never have been persisted (counts, totals, "N items", restated summaries), rival definitions that drift apart, and orphaned cross-references.

Docker makes "works on my machine" a deployment strategy. Package your app with its dependencies, run it anywhere. But Docker's simplicity hides real complexity. A naive Dockerfile can be 10x larger and slower than it needs to be. This skill covers Dockerfile optimization, multi-stage builds, Docker Compose for development, security hardening, and production patterns. Key insight: your Dockerfile is code. Review it, optimize it, version it. 2025 lesson: Containers aren't VMs. The patterns that work for VMs (install everything, big base images) are anti-patterns for containers. Think small, think immutable, think layers. Use when "docker, dockerfile, container, docker compose, docker build, containerize, docker image, multi-stage build, docker network, docker volume, docker, containers, devops, deployment, infrastructure, security, optimization" mentioned.
