alert Plugin

alert sends desktop notifications from the terminal.

Commands

  • alert <resource> <action> — Execute alert commands
  • alert self version — Print alert version
  • alert _ _ — Passthrough to alert CLI

Usage Examples

  • "notify when a long build completes"
  • "send a custom notification message"
  • "send an urgent alert about a failed job"

Installation

npm install -g alert
