Supersetで複数のコーディングエージェントに作業を分担し、並行して進めます。個別の作業領域で進捗と依存関係を追い、変更ファイル・検証結果・引き継ぎを整理します。
Coordinate several coding agents in parallel through Paradev (formerly Superset), each in its own workspace, with follow-ups, progress reads, dependency tracking, and structured results. Use when the user asks to delegate, parallelize, fan out, or split up coding work across agents, workspaces, or hosts, hand work between agents, or monitor workers, including "spin up agents for each of these", "run these in parallel", "what are my workers doing". Not for ordinary single-agent workspace, task, or automation management.

paradev is an alias for the superset CLI: every superset command here also runs as paradev.
Coordinate terminal agents with Paradev's workspace, agent, and terminal commands. Treat this as a coordinator-driven protocol: Paradev provides session transport, while the coordinator owns task dependencies and completion state.
superset auth whoami --json.superset schema 2>/dev/null | jq -re '.commands[] | select(.path==["terminals"]) | .commands[].path[1]' || superset terminals --help and require list, read, send, and close. The --help fallback covers a CLI older than 1.34.0 (no schema) and a machine without jq.superset update and recheck. Do not invent or substitute unsupported orchestration commands. hosts add, terminals send --keys, terminals wait, terminals attach, panes, and notifications show are newer than CLI 1.37.0; when one is still missing after an update, skip it and fall back to terminals read and send.superset hosts list --json
superset agents list --local --json
superset workspaces list --local --json
When coordinating from inside the target workspace, pass --workspace "$SUPERSET_WORKSPACE_ID" explicitly to agent and terminal commands. Only workspaces get defaults its workspace ID from that environment variable. Pass --host <id> consistently for a remote host. If the target host is offline, use hosts wake <id> and confirm it is online before dispatching. To run workers on a machine that is not a host yet but that the user can SSH into, superset hosts add <ssh-target> installs the CLI there, signs it in, and keeps it running as a user service. It changes that machine, so get the user's go-ahead first and pass --yes only after they agree. It needs ssh <ssh-target> to already work from here, and on the remote: macOS or glibc Linux (x64 or arm64, not Alpine or Windows), curl, and on Linux a valid /etc/machine-id and systemd user services. Without gh signed in there, private repos will not clone on that host. Running it again on the same target repairs a broken setup, and superset hosts remove <ssh-target> undoes it. Do not use --agent superset: it creates a chat session, and terminal read/send cannot control it.
Create a compact coordinator table with these fields:
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Task | Stable short identifier |
| Dependencies | Tasks that must complete first |
| Workspace | Paradev workspace ID |
| Host | Host ID, or local |
| Terminal | sessionId returned by agents create |
| Status | pending, ready, running, completed, blocked, or failed |
| Result | Summary, files, checks, and follow-up work |
Keep this state in the coordinator's working context. Paradev organization tasks are issue-tracker records, not orchestration DAG nodes; do not create or mutate them unless the user asks.
Prefer independent tasks and shallow dependency chains. For parallel editing, give workers separate workspaces/branches. Sharing one workspace is appropriate for read-only analysis or deliberately complementary work with non-overlapping files.
Give every worker a bounded prompt containing:
Require the worker's final response to end with one of these envelopes:
SUPERSET_WORKER_DONE
task: <task-id>
summary: <one-line outcome>
files: <comma-separated paths or none>
checks: <commands and outcomes>
handoff: <next-step context or none>
SUPERSET_WORKER_BLOCKED
task: <task-id>
reason: <specific blocker>
needs: <decision, access, or dependency required>
These markers are a prompt convention visible in terminal snapshots, not durable Paradev events. Treat malformed or missing envelopes as unstructured output and inspect the full snapshot.
Launch a terminal agent once and retain its session ID:
superset agents create \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--agent <preset-or-config-id> \
--effort <supported-level> \
--attachment <optional-path> \
--prompt "<worker prompt>" \
--json
Omit --effort or --attachment when they are not needed. The result is { "kind", "sessionId", "label" }. Require kind to be terminal; store sessionId as the terminal ID. Launch all ready, independent tasks before monitoring them.
Use superset workspaces create first when a worker needs an isolated branch. Do not create parallel editing workers in the same worktree unless their file ownership is explicitly disjoint.
Reacquire live terminal IDs after losing coordinator context or restarting the host service:
superset terminals list \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--json
Terminal discovery does not identify semantic recipients or agent completion state. Preserve the coordinator table's task-to-terminal mapping whenever possible.
Read recent output without mutating the session:
superset terminals read \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--terminal <terminal-id> \
--max-lines 240 \
--json
The JSON result includes text. Inspect it for the completion or blocked envelope and confirm that the surrounding output supports the claimed result. terminals list reports live sessions, not whether an agent is working or idle; do not infer completion from presence, absence, attached, or terminal title alone.
Send clarification, dependency results, review feedback, or a handoff into the existing session:
superset terminals send \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--terminal <terminal-id> \
--text "<follow-up>" \
--json
To answer a permission prompt or interrupt a worker, send key presses instead of text: --keys enter approves, and --keys esc interrupts the agent's turn. Avoid ctrl+c on an agent, since some agents quit on it. --keys takes a comma-separated list (--keys down, enter). Read the screen first so you know which prompt you are answering.
To wait for something on the screen that is not an agent state, such as a dev server's "listening on", use superset terminals wait --terminal <terminal-id> --match "<regex>" with the same workspace and host flags.
Wait for a worker instead of polling its screen:
superset agents wait \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--terminal <terminal-id> \
--until settled \
--timeout 120 \
--json
settled returns once the agent finishes its turn or needs input; the JSON state says which (idle or blocked). It exits 1 on timeout and at once if the agent exits. Keep timeouts short and wait on each running worker in turn, so progress and user updates stay visible between waits. Then read the screen for the envelope as above. To send a follow-up and wait for the turn it starts, add --wait to terminals send.
If superset agents wait is not available (an older CLI), poll terminals read at a measured cadence instead.
To see every worker at once (each terminal, its agent and state), read the host in one call with superset snapshot --host <host-id> --json. superset agents explain says why a worker shows the state it does.
When the user wants to watch workers in the desktop app, lay them out with superset panes: panes new-tab --workspace <id> --terminal <terminal-id> opens a worker in its own tab, and panes split --workspace <id> --pane <pane-id> --direction right --terminal <terminal-id> puts two side by side. Get pane IDs from panes list --workspace <id> --json. These commands do not move focus; only panes focus does. They work only for workspaces on the machine running the desktop app. For anything beyond this (resizing, swapping, moving, closing, or building a full layout), use the superset:panes skill.
If the user wants to take over a worker from their own shell, give them the command rather than running it: superset terminals attach --workspace <id> --terminal <terminal-id> (add --ssh <user@machine> for a worker on another machine). It needs an interactive terminal, and Ctrl+] detaches without stopping the worker.
completed only after reading a SUPERSET_WORKER_DONE envelope and checking its evidence.blocked when the worker emits SUPERSET_WORKER_BLOCKED; resolve the need or ask the user before redispatching.ready only when every dependency is completed. For isolated branches, ask each implementation worker to commit or otherwise provide an exact handoff only when that action is within the user's requested workflow. Paradev does not merge worker branches automatically.
Summarize each task's outcome, workspace/branch, files changed, checks, blockers, and integration order. Distinguish worker claims from checks the coordinator independently ran.
A long run usually finishes while the user is looking elsewhere. Tell them with a desktop notification; run from a Paradev terminal, clicking it brings them back to the coordinator:
superset notifications show "Parallel run finished" --body "4 done, 1 blocked" --sound
A run across several workspaces is worth a page. One link carrying every outcome, branch, and check reads better than a long terminal block, it survives the session, and reviewers can pin a comment to the row they disagree with:
superset pages publish run-summary.html --workspace <id> --title "Parallel run: auth refactor"
Offer it and publish only once the user agrees. A page is persistent and org-visible by default, and a run summary quotes whatever the workers printed.
Keep completed terminals available when the user may want to inspect or continue them. Close a terminal only when cleanup is requested or clearly part of the workflow:
superset terminals close \
--workspace <workspace-id> \
--host <host-id> \
--terminal <terminal-id> \
--json
Closing a terminal ends that session. Deleting a workspace is a separate destructive action and requires explicit scope.
