Score whether a news event is worth newsjacking, or whether a user's pitch idea is actually newsworthy to journalists. Uses calibrated anchors, hard anti-inflation rules, standing checks, timing windows, and brand-safety kill switches.

Performs systematic root cause analysis to identify the true source of bugs, errors, and unexpected behavior through structured investigation phases — not just treating symptoms. Use when a user reports a bug, crash, error, or broken behavior and needs to debug, troubleshoot, or investigate why something is not working; especially for complex or intermittent issues across multiple components. Applies the Five Whys method, hypothesis-driven testing, stack trace analysis, git blame/log evidence gathering, and causal chain documentation to isolate and confirm root causes before applying any fix.

Find and fix game performance problems methodically — measure with the engine profiler first, reason about the frame-time budget, locate the CPU-vs-GPU bottleneck, then apply the right fix: object pooling, draw-call batching, fewer allocations/GC spikes, and asset budgets. Engine- neutral method that pairs with each engine's profiler. Use when the user mentions performance, optimize, low/dropping FPS, frame drops, stutter, lag, profiler, frame budget, draw calls, batching, garbage collection/GC spikes, object pooling, or "the game runs slow".

Run a family meeting to make a big care decision together. Use when asked help me run a family meeting about care, we need to decide together about mom's care, my siblings and I disagree about our parent, or facilitate a care decision. Produces an agenda and structure for the meeting, how to prepare (facts, options, everyone's input), ground rules to keep old family dynamics from derailing it, how to include the person being cared for, ways to work through disagreement toward a decision, and clear next steps with owners. Pressure-test a business or side-hustle idea before you sink money and months into it — find the real demand, the risky assumptions, and the cheapest way to test them. Use when asked to validate my business idea, is this a good business idea, test my side hustle, or should I start this. Produces a read on the core assumptions the idea depends on, who the customer really is and whether the pain is real, the cheapest experiments to test demand before building, a rough viability check (market, competition, economics), and a go/refine/rethink call — honest, not a cheerleader.

Draft the hard personal message you keep putting off — chasing money a friend owes, backing out of plans, checking in after a fight, following up on an unanswered text. Use when asked to help send an awkward text, how to say something uncomfortable to a friend, word a difficult personal message, or bring up something touchy. Produces a couple of calibrated options, the one line to open with, and the send/wait/call judgement call — warm, honest, and not a doormat.

Use when asked will a raise hurt my benefits, benefits cliff, if I make more will I lose my food stamps or medicaid, or should I take more hours. Produces a plain map of which benefits phase out at what income (and which cut off suddenly vs. taper), a rough read on whether a specific income change helps or hurts net, the ones with hard cliffs to watch (childcare, Medicaid, housing), the moves that soften a cliff, and where to get a real benefits screening. Use when asked to check whether a figure is audited, which headline numbers sit outside the audited accounts, what 'adjusted' or 'underlying' means in this report, or who is vouching for the numbers in the highlights. For every headline figure in the highlights, chairman's statement and CEO review of an uploaded annual report, states whether it sits inside or outside the audited statements and what was added or removed versus the nearest audited number. Produces a boundary table, the list of figures outside the boundary, and a plain-English summary of who is vouching for what. Educational, not financial advice.

Use when asked to analyse experiment results, write an A/B test readout, interpret test data, or decide whether to ship a variant. Produces a clear verdict with the lift and confidence, segment cuts, the risks (peeking, novelty, sample), and a recommendation. Distinct from planning a test — this reads results.

Audit whether the organisation's AI spend actually paid — measured against baselines, not vendor math or vibes. Use when a CFO asks what the AI tools returned, when renewing AI contracts, when consolidating overlapping AI subscriptions, or to build the measurement plan before the next spend. ALWAYS invoke this skill before asking the user any technical question or offering options, and whenever they ask to be asked in plain words - "ask simple", "ask me simply", "ask me in plain words" - in any language. ALWAYS invoke it too when the user asks for your view on a technical choice: whether it is worth doing, more than the problem needs, or replaceable by something simpler, and which option you would take. Invoke it even when the code makes the answer look obvious: the checks are what make the answer more than a guess. Rewrites the question in plain words and always ends with one marked recommendation. A structural choice first passes six checks, shown as a table: effort now, simpler substitute, extra work later, lock-in, over-engineering, easy to undo. Doing nothing is always weighed.
